Serving Others Through Philanthropy

We support the philanthropic interests of our employees with three programs:

We give grants to nonprofits that our employees are passionate about. This grant cycle varies each year and we communicate directly with our employees about the details.
We are one of few businesses that has a "Dollars for Doers" program. Through this program, we make cash donations to the agencies our employees volunteer at. On an annual basis, our employees turn in their time and we then convert that to a monetary donation.
We also have an employee match program. Through this program, we match the monetary donations our employees make to nonprofit agencies.

Briljent's success and much of our family wealth has been generated through the hard work of our employees. We are, after all, a consulting firm. So, it makes sense to us that a primary focus of where we serve, is with the agencies that our people care about.

We continue to be interested in funding the agencies and programs our employees and family members are passionate about and support.

We are considering grants by invitation only.

The Luminous Fund is primarily interested in funding agencies that matter to two groups of people:

Briljent employees
Carrier family members

To request funds, you will need to submit the following information:

Name and address of the organization
Person (and email) submitting the request and also how you are connected to either a Briljent employee or Carrier family member
Amount requested
Specific purpose of the requested funds
Mission statement and purpose of the organization. In addition to this indicate if you are affiliated with a religious organization. If so, what is your religious affiliation and how is it reflected in your work?
Measurement of success
List of board of directors
Current financial statements and/or annual report
